Tiến sĩ để làm gì? (Bài gửi đăng báo nhưng không được đăng; vì gửi báo nên giọng điệu mới tử tế thế này)

Biết rằng nếu viết ra thì sẽ đụng chạm đến rất nhiều người. Biết rằng rất nhiều người trong số đó chọn cách im lặng AQ vì ít nhiều nó vận vào mình đúng. Biết rằng nhiều người trong số còn lại thì nổi đóa và “hãy đợi đấy” bằng cách này hay cách khác. Và biết rằng chỉ một số ít người trong số còn lại thì sẽ đàng hoàng lên tiếng phản biện. Thế nhưng vẫn cứ viết vì... tức! Vẫn cứ viết vì những người đàng hoàng lên tiếng phản biện sẽ tạo thành một cuộc thức tỉnh xã hội, tuy chỉ dám hy vọng là một đốm lửa nhỏ, để mong có một số thay đổi nhỏ về chuyện tiến sĩ ở Việt Nam.
Tức vì lẽ tại sao tiến sĩ lại nhiều thế?
Tức vì lẽ tại sao thành tiến sĩ lại dễ thế?
Tức vì lẽ cho đến giờ vẫn không hiểu được tiến sĩ thì để làm gì, làm được cái gì ở Việt Nam?
Hàng ngày, hàng tuần, có biết bao sự kiện, vấn đề quan trọng chỉ riêng trong lĩnh vực kinh tế thồi. Thế nhưng quanh đi quẩn lại chỉ có một số ít khuôn mặt và cái tên “thân thuộc” đến độ hầu như mở báo nào ra cũng thấy của một số ít người nói ra, viết ra. Và trong số đó có một số người là tiến sĩ.
Lạ cái là, tức cái là một số trong họ (và một số tiến sĩ ít xuất đầu lộ diện khác) nói ra, viết ra có lúc thì như học sinh trả bài (nhưng không thuộc), lúc thì chung chung, chẳng chết ai nhưng cũng chẳng có ích cho ai, lúc thì sai lầm, ngớ ngẩn đến độ người dân bình thường cũng phải tự hỏi học ở đâu mà ra cái nông nỗi thế?
Một bạn là phóng viên của một tờ báo phải than trời, nguyên văn rằng: “bản thân em là người đi phỏng vấn chuyên gia và viết mấy bài về .... vừa rồi, nhưng em thấy các bác ấy nói chung chung và còn lý thuyết quá.”
Lạ thêm nữa, tức thêm nữa ở những chỗ khác không cần phải là tiến sĩ hoặc lòe ra cái mác tiến sĩ lại thấy lắm tiến sĩ thế. Đến độ, người ta phải sửa lại thành “phổ cập tiến sĩ”.
Các vị, có ai đủ dũng cảm để lên tiếng tại sao xã hội phải tốn tiền “đào tạo” và dung dưỡng các vị không?
